Tanya Hines

Tanya Hines is the Founder, CEO, and Principal of Hines + Associates, where she partners with organizations to achieve sustainable growth by strengthening commercial capabilities and transforming leadership cultures. With more than 30 years of experience, she has guided Fortune 500 companies, privately held businesses, and non-profits across consumer durables, media, CPG, and industrial sectors—always with a focus on unlocking people’s full potential.

A trailblazer in every sense, Tanya became one of the first Black women to serve as Vice President of Customer Business Development at Procter & Gamble, opening doors for future generations of diverse leaders. She later played a pivotal role in revitalizing Ebony and Jet as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Johnson Publishing Company, and most recently, as Vice President Commercial Excellence at Johnson Controls, she led global growth initiatives and large-scale organizational transformation.

Guided by purpose as much as performance, Tanya is deeply committed to community impact, serving on the board of trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee and the African American Leadership Alliance of Milwaukee (AALAM) and previously as a board member with City Forward Collective, and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee. Colleagues know her as both visionary and grounded, with a leadership philosophy rooted in resilience, collaboration, and the belief that true leadership is about more than results—it’s about transforming organizations, empowering people, and elevating communities.
